British Charcuterie & Peters Yard Crackers – The Perfect Match
To create a Charcuterie Board, a really good board, you need to Tempt the Eye and Appeal to the Appetite. We like a contrast of the types, shapes, colours and textures of Charcuterie (i.e. salami, hams, rillettes, etc) with no more than a choice of six or seven tops - otherwise you will overwhelm your taste-buds. But add a few “accessories” – pickled radishes, baby gherkins, tomatoes, olives or a pickle or chutney – that complement and/or contrast the flavours of the Charcuterie and to add to the excitement.
Finally, add a selection of Peter’s Yard Sourdough Crackers - with a choice of
- Original Sourdough Crispbread made from a 45-year-old sourdough starter and fermented for 16 hours before each batch is baked, the flavour and crunch of these crackers are the perfect match.
- Seeded Sourdough Flatbreads are crafted from Shipton Mill flour, British rapeseed oil and poppy, sunflower, pumpkin and nigella seeds, they’re seasoned with hand-harvested Halen Môn sea salt from Wales. Savour the crunch with your favourite dips.
- Rye & Charcoal Sourdough Crackers add a subtle flavour of charcoal and rye. These sourdough crackers are made in small batches with Peter’s Yard signature sourdough starter, which slowly ferments for 16 hours.
