World Charcuterie Awards Directory Services

World Charcuterie Awards (herein stated as “WCA”) is a marketing and consulting platform connecting trade, press, and consumers to independent Charcuterie-related businesses throughout the World (herein stated as “Charcuterie businesses”).

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (herein stated as “T&Cs”) govern your inclusion in any of the WCA Directories (herein stated as “the Directory”).

These are in addition to the WCA Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Please read the below carefully, as they relate to your inclusion in the Directory. If you do not agree to these T&Cs, the WCA Website T&Cs and/or our Privacy Policy, please advise WCA immediately by email to legal@worldcharcuterieawards.com and you will not be entered into the Directory.

Terms of Use

Any businesses related to the Charcuterie Industry e.g. Retail or Mail Order Outlets or Foodservice (Places to Eat etc) or Learning/Training Establishments or Equipment Suppliers (herein stated as the “B2B Listing Owner”) are eligible to purchase a Listing in the Business Suppliers & Services Directory.
- A Listing in the B2B Directory will be created for your business upon:
  - Purchasing a Monthly or Annual subscription to the Directory.
  - Sponsoring the World Charcuterie Awards – Sponsors (subject to agreement) are entitled to a free entry into the Directory for a period of 12 months or until the closing date of entries to the following year’s Awards.
Any business as above (herein stated as the “B2C Listing Owner”) is also eligible to purchase a Listing in the B2C Producers Directory.
- A Listing in the B2C Directory will be created for your business upon:
  - Purchasing a Monthly or Annual subscription to the Directory.
  - Entering the annual World Charcuterie Awards Awards – Charcuterie Producers/Importers are entitled to a discounted entry into the Directory for a period of 12 months or until the closing date of entries to the following year’s Awards.
WCA reserves all rights of the Directory and all entries made within it, including withholding any entry into the Directory as they see fit.
WCA reserve the right to edit the Listing Owner’s submitted copy, to make minor copy-editing changes to conform the style of the text/images to its customary form and usage without the Listing Owner’s written approval in the e-mail.
WCA reserves the right to cancel the free entry in the Directory if a Sponsorship Agreement expires or a Charcuterie Producer withdraws their entry from the current annual Awards.
Following the closing date of the next annual Awards entry, WCA reserves the right to remove a discounted Directory Listing if a Charcuterie Producer has not entered those awards or has not purchased a 12-month subscription.
The Listing Owner is responsible for all and any information provided for their directory entry and is responsible for any claims of false or misleading information.
The Listing Owner is may update their directory entry at any time by logging in to their user account.
The Listing Owner gives permission for their logo/trademark to be loaded onto the Directory and WCA accepts no responsibility or liability for misrepresentation.
The Listing Owner gives permission for their photos loaded onto their Directory Listing to be used by WCA within the WCA’s website or in their newsletter and on social media.
The Directory is a platform of knowledge and information to direct visitors to The Listing Owner’s website.
WCA take no liability and accept no responsibility for any trading relationship/transaction entered into between a visitor to the Directory and/or a Listing Owner found on the Directory
Nothing in the WCA T&Cs affects your statutory rights.
WCA T&Cs may be updated at any time and are published on the WCA website.

Payment Terms

The Listing Owner by taking out an annual (12-month) or monthly subscription agrees to accept WCA’s terms of an automatic subscription renewal – i.e after the subscription period has elapsed, the subscriber’s payment details will be charged automatically without the subscriber having to take action.
WCA will endeavour to keep the price for a Directory Listing constant but reserves the right to raise the price, Any increased changes will not affect any order for which you have already paid.
If WCA changes the Subscription price (which they may do at any time), this will not affect your current Subscription but the higher price will apply upon its renewal. Listing Owners will be notified via email of any changes to the annual price.
If the Listing Owner wishes not to renew his 12-month subscription, they must contact suppliers@worldcharcuterieawards.com at least 21 working days before the renewal date.

Warranty

The Directory platform gives no warranties for its use.
We at WCA do our best to provide timely and accurate information regarding Listing Owners.
We make no warranties or guarantees for the content appearing on it.
It is the responsibility of the Listing Owner to provide, check and request any changes to incorrect information.
WCA accepts the information provided by the Listing Owner in good faith and that it is correct at the time of entry.

Technical concerns

While WCA will do all that is reasonable at any time to provide a safe easy to use platform, we disclaim all liability for

Errors or interruptions to the WCA website.
Incompatibility with any of your equipment.
Malicious or dangerous software such as viruses.
WCA provides hypertext links to third-party websites for the convenience of users at its discretion.
By linking to these websites World Charcuterie Awards in no way endorses the contents, views or information held on such sites.
WCA is not responsible for any loss, additional costs or damage howsoever arising, suffered as a result of using the hyperlinks provided to third-party websites.

Complaints, concerns or comments

Viruses, hacking and other offences

You must not misuse our Directory or any part of our service by introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.

By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will cooperate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.
